1.First and foremost, have fun.
Roleplay is a game. Games should be fun. 2. Please type properly. None of the characters are complete dolts, so please don't make them out to be. Everyone makes mistakes, but please read over what you have written before posting. Good grammar reflects well upon the player and their character. 3. Stay in character! To make an out of character comment, put it inside parenthesis and preface it with ooc:, example: ((ooc: This is the proper way to make an out of character comment.)) or better yet post it in our Out of Character Journal Liberacorpus. 4. Avoid using out of character information as much as possible. "Owls to" and "___ only" posts should be respected as private to that individual/group even if it's not behind a cut. If you have trouble figuring out what your character should or shouldn't know, ask a Mod for help. 5. Try to keep the storylines as canon as possible. Yes, you can change things around a bit, but let's keep it relatively realistic. 6. If your entries for the community have questionable content, use a cut! And a Warning...we are not an age restricted game, and generally try to stay PG-13. 7. Cursing is fine. But in moderation, please. 8. Keep in touch. To help keep game play rolling, (unless we've had an advanced warning) if we don't hear from a player for two weeks through post, e-mail or IM, we'll open the character up. You can always re-apply for a character as long as they're open. 9. Date your action posts and time sensitive owls with the in game date. Levicorpus game play is slightly non-linear. Characters can be in more than one thread at the same time, provided those characters aren't in two places at once. Obviously this can get very confusing if we don't nail down when the post is taking place. 10. Again, have fun! |
