The bride and groom stopped at the end of the carpet, and finally released hands so that they could hug the family members that had come swarming up to them. After a solid fifteen minutes of hugs, tears, and congratulations, Bill took Fleur by the arm and led her to the flying carriage awaiting them. It was the same one that had brought the Delacours, but it had been decorated and polished so that it glistened. The winged horse drawing it whinnied softly as the crowd came his way.

Bill helped Fleur inside, and the crowd stopped short to allow them to take off.

A few people popped off immediately after the bride and groom were out of sight, but most everyone else lingered for a while and head back to the garden to finish off the buffet.

Seamus watched as the chariot lifted off the ground and faded into the distance. He could almost hear a piece of music playing, the soft strings melting together with a low French horn. He was glad to see that eve during these rough times happiness was still around.

He walked back to the garden, thinking of the final days of summer and returning to Hogwarts. He picked up a glass of champagne and leaned up against a tree, watching the midday sun throw shadows on the crowded garden.

"This was a fun day," he said, noticing someone close by, watching the same shadows.

Promise was sitting in the grass with her shoes off next to her and Charm dozing next to her, leaning against her leg. Her warm, familiar fuzz gave Promise a sense of security as she gazed off into the sky watching the clouds and letting her mind wander about into what she lovingly referred to as "Promise land, where everything revolves around Promise." She was holding a half empty glass of champagne in one hand and the stem of an eaten strawberry in the other. The afternoon sun was dancing pleasantly off of her skin. She felt perfectly content.
She looked up at hearing Seamus speak and smiled that dazzling smile of hers, happy to see a familiar and friendly face.

"Yes it was a wonderful day, I agree. It's always a wonderful day when something happy happens in a time where people mostly feel fear. Not to mention I got out of Hogwarts. It was getting very boring and not to mention lonely there all alone."

"I can imagine. It got kinda lonely there during holiday breaks, sometimes there'd only be a handful of kids there. But a little more than one more week, and the rest of us'll be heading back. I can't wait for the quidditch season. I've been practicing a lot. You play?"

Promise looked a little embarrassed, "Uh...well...not really..."
Charm squealed and rolled onto her back sneezing in kitty laughter at a particular memory. Promise glared and swatted at her, "Shut up, you!"

Promise had to smile a little, "I fly well enough it just seems like I can't concentrate on more than a couple things at once...those things being, flying, paying attention to the balls, and..watching where I'm going. The few times I've played quiddich I've crashed rather brutally into the goals."
She looked down, embarrassed at the memories, "Charm loves to watch me play.."

She glared.  Charm continued to sneeze in glee.

"Maybe you could try for seeker. I don't think Harry is coming back this year, and as seeker, you don't have to worry about everything. It’s just you and the snitch."  A thought suddenly hit him.  "Wait, you said you weren't being sorted, I wonder what team McGonagall would put you on if you tried out? I'd guess Gryffindor, if even for just the fact that that's where you're staying."

Promise looked a little less confident than she usually did. She usually had a certain glow of self confidence around her but clearly the subject of quiddich made her doubt herself a bit. "Well I don't think I'm THAT good at flying, a seeker? I guess I could always try, if you couldn't find anyone else, that is. I think I'd make a better ref, though." She laughed nervously, poking at Charm's tail distractedly, causing her friend to stop laughing and play attack her finger.

He noticed that the subject of quidditch seemed to make her a little uncomfortable, so he changed teh subject. Charm was playfully attacking her finger. "What type of animal is Charm exactly?"

Charm looked up, her blue eyes meeting Seamus's directly and made a rather indignant sounding meeping noise.
Promise laughed, "Charm says, 'I'm not an ANIMAL, thank you very much.' more or less. She's actually a species native to the mountains where I grew up. They're pretty rare but very useful and once you befriend one you become rather attached to each other. You have to get them as an egg and be there when they hatch, usually, though."

Seamus bent down on his knees. "Sorry, charm," He laughed. "Native to Montana, that'd be why her species is unfamiliar to me. Beautiful, though."

He stood back up, and noticed that the crowd was starting to dissipate. He remembered that he wanted to ask Harry about the D.A., and looked around for him.

"Excuse me, I've got to go find Harry," He said, walking back toward the garden, keeping an eye out for his best mate.

Promise smiled at him, "not a problem, I can't monopolize you all day, after all."

Charm was still preening after being called beautiful when Promise picked her up and walked toward an empty grassy place where she could sit down for a moment before deciding to head home. She almost had in mind to have Charm go get Eclipse for her so she didn't have to take the energy to apparate for she felt a little drained. She then decided that would be dreadfully lazy of her and she'd just sit for a moment before heading out.

Arthur rushed up where his son and new daughter had stopped at the edge of the carpet, with Molly at his side. Before he could say anything he dropped his arms around Bill's shoulder in a giant hug, sniffling to hold back the tears which threatened to return. Then he switched to Fleur and although she certainly seemed taken aback by the physical affection, she finally returned his hug, as he welcomed her to the family.

After watching them move to their carriage and pull off he turned to his wife and took her hand. "Well, dear, there he goes. Our first child married."

Molly caught Bill and Fleur each in turn with her own tight embrace after Arthur had let go. With some reluctance she stepped back with him, so the other guests could say their goodbye.

Arthur took her hand and spoke to her. "Our first child married."

Molly sniffed again and began to weep openly. "I know, Arthur! I'm so happy for them!" she sobbed and buried her eyes on his shoulder.

Arthur held onto Molly as she cried into his shoulder and sniffled himself, trying to hold back his own tears. "Oh Molly! It's so wonderful!" He finally gave in and let out a sob before the tears began flowing freely.

Ron walked up to his brother, sticking out a hand, prepared to be manly about this. He was a bit surprised when Bill pulled him into a tight hug, but he hugged him back, before releasing him. "Good show, mate," Ron said, a smile on his face. Moving to Fleur, he gave her a quick peck on the cheek before whispering, "Treat him well", smiling and walking away.

Harry saw ron kiss Fleur on the cheek, and thought to himself, "What a lucky bloke Bill is" as he waved the lucky couple goodbye.

"Goodbye!" Demelza yelled as he waved to Bill and Fleur.

Tonks waved goodbye to her friend as he and his new wife flew off to begin their new life. Once they were out of sight, Tonks looked around and spotted Charlie standing off to the side with his head cocked to the side. She figured that now was a good enough time as any.

Once the wedding was over, and people were just hanging around talking, Neville searched the Weasley house for Harry. There was something very important he needed to talk to him about. He finally found him in one of the bedrooms.

"Harry, I'm sorry to interrupt whatever you were doing, but I really need to talk to you, remember?"

Harry then asked Neville, "What’s the problem?"

Neville looked around to make sure he and Harry were truly alone. He then proceeded to tell Harry everything.
"I've been having these dreams, Harry. Horrible dreams about your scar! In my dream, your scar is bright red and it talks to me. It says, 'Beware of Voldemort. He is looking for you.' And whenever I wake up from these dreams, I'm always drenched in sweat and my head hurts terribly, as if I have a scar myself. What do you make of that?"

Harry proceeded then to say, "Dear me, I knew it would happen someday. You have heard about Sybil Trelawney’s prophecy, have you? Well, Voldemort has only heard half of it, and it could relate as easily to you as it does to me. So I suspect that Voldemort is truth-searching, I’m afraid...

Neville was confused by what Harry had just said. None of it made any sense to him.

"Prophecy?" he asked. "Does this have anything to do with the prophecy that broke that night at the ministry? And if so, what does it have to do with me?"

"Well, more than you can possibly imagine,” replied Harry. "The prophecy what was broken in the Ministry happens to be a copy of the Trelawney prophecy I talked about. And you, my friend, fit all the descriptions of the prophecy!"

Neville was starting to get anxious and annoyed with Harry for giving him such vague answers to his questions.
"What does Trelawney's prophecy say? What are you talking about?"

“To make things short it says that the child born in the end of July of 1980, would be branded by the dark lord as his equal, and you are also born in July of 80!”

A revelation suddenly washed over Neville, and all of a sudden he knew exactly what Harry was talking about.
"So you're saying that there was a prophecy that said that someone born in July of 1980 would be Voldemort's equal. And he knew about this, and obviously didn't want an equal. So he went after you because you were born in July of 1980. But I was also born on that month, and that's why he's now looking for me?"

"That’s right, Neville!" Harry replied.

Neville tried his best not to burst with frustration, but did not succeed.

"So you've known about all this and you didn't bother to tell me?" he yelled. "A warning would have been nice! I can't believe you would keep something as important as that prophecy from me. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I thought that it was for your own good", Harry replied. "I kept this secret, without knowing the damage I could do to you, can you forgive me?"

Neville sighed.  "Yes, I can forgive you, Harry, but I want more information."  He paused for a moment before continuing.  "A lot of other people were born in July of 1980. How did Voldemort narrow it down to just the two of us?"

Harry then said: "Because both our families have defied him, as it said in the prophecy"

Neville had had enough. Just when he thought Harry had told him everything, there was another piece of information thrown at him. All he wanted was to be told everything at the same time.
"Does anyone else know all about this? Have you shared it with anyone else but myself?"

“Ron and Hermione know about it, and so did Dumbledore when he lived...”

"I just can't believe no one has told me about all this!" Neville replied. "I know it was to protect me, but I'm just as old as the rest of you. I don't need you to protect me, Harry. Now can you please tell me if there's anything else that was said in this prophecy that you have not yet mentioned?"

“That was all, I guess,” Harry replied.

"Well, what do you think I should do about my strange dreams?" Neville had gotten used to asking Harry for advice. It seemed that in the past year or two, more and more people were coming to him for help.

Harry’s reply was the following: "See McGonagall for further advice, she can be as helpful as Dumbledore was. I can assure you that!"

"You know what, Harry? You're absolutely right!" Neville said to him. "McGonagall would know what to do about these dreams. I'm going to talk to her as soon as school starts. Thanks, mate! I knew I could count on you to give me good advice!"
