Blaise is an only child. His mother has been married 8 times, each of her husbands died mysteriously. She married again in August to Androcles Anderson, an elderly and very wealthy American man.Levicorpus History (beyond the Lexicon) :
Blaise was born in South Africa. He moved around to different countries as his mother went through husbands. Blaise lived in Egypt, Italy, and France before settling in England in time to attend Hogwarts. Blaise is well educated and speaks the language of each country he has lived in. While in France, he got involved with broom racing. It's one of the few things he truly enjoys.Blaise never had much opportunity to interact with other children before Hogwarts. He kept to himself for his first few years at school, but he and Draco became friends toward the end of fourth year.
Blaise has been living on his own in an apartment in London for the past few years, though he is still supported by his mother. His new stepfather is the first to take any real interest in him.
In his last year at Hogwarts he has been acting as Draco's eyes and ears inside the school in exchange for the promise that Draco will get him to the anual Swedish broom race.
Draco came through on getting Blaise to the broom race by trading places with him. He also set Blaise up with Tracey Davis. Both Blaise and Tracey are having an awkward time trying to figure out this new relationship.
