Draco took the cauldron off the burner and poured it's contents into a flask. He had multiple potions brewing once again. He looked at the black potion in the flask, swirled it slowly for no particular reason other than to watch the liquid lick the glass.

He went down to his Aunt's room and knocked on the door. "It's ready," he said.

Bellatrix heard a knock at her door and stopped her conversation with Narcissa.

"Excuse me a moment, Cissy," she said and went to the door.

She opened the door, and there stood Draco holding the flask in his hands.

"It's ready?!" Bellatrix exclaimed. "Oh, Draco, thank you! Come in, come in! Your mum's already here..."

Draco stepped inside the room. "Do you have three glasses?" he asked.

"Of course I do," Bella said. She walked over to her closet, and opened one of the cabinets. She pulled out three glasses and set them side by side on her dresser.

Draco poured the liquid equally into the three glasses and set the flask down. He picked them up, momentarily holding the glasses hostage while he asked. "We're understood as to the division? I get Grimmauld Place. Aunt Bella may have the Black Manor. Mother, I don't care how you and she divide the rest of it."

Narcissa nodded.

"Yes, Draco, it's understood," she said. She looked to Bellatrix, who nodded in agreement.

Draco passed out the glasses. "Bottoms up," he said and put his glass to his lips.

Bellatrix slowly drank the contents of the glass. She couldn’t decide whether or not she liked the taste. When she had finished it, she set the glass down on her dresser.

"So, Draco, when do you plan on going to Grimmauld Place?" Bella asked.

Draco finished his glass. It reminded him of liquorish. He smiled at Bella question. "One must plan for the future," he said vaguely.

"I see," Bellatrix said. She shot a side glance at Narcissa, who looked a little paler than usual.

But...I hope he's not planning on moving there soon...I wonder what he's up to... Narcissa thought, letting the 'protective mother' side of her out.

"Well, erm, whatever you plan to do, good luck with that. Your father and I, and your aunt and uncle are here should you need any, erm, assistance or something," Narcissa mumbled.

Draco gave his mother an odd glance. "I'll keep that in mind, Mother," he said. He noticed that she seemed a bit distressed and went to her side. "Are you all right? The potion hasn't made you ill, has it?" he asked in a concerned tone.

"No, I'm fine, Draco...the potion just didn’t taste very good, that's all. It just made me feel queasy for a moment," Narcissa said, and flashed him a smile.

"Okay," Draco said, still looking slightly concerned. "Let's see if it worked." Draco stretched out his wand, focusing on the non-verbal spell that summoned a house-elf. "Kreacher, come here!"

With a pop, the ugly creature was standing in the middle of the room. He looked about him, confusion and delight fighting for a place on his features. "Who is your master?" Draco asked him.

Kreacher fell to his knees. "Draco Malfoy is Kreacher's master now. Kreacher is free of the Potter boy and the mudbloods. Kreacher shall be serving the Blacks once again, oh yes, he will. Kreacher will maybe returning to his poor mistress's house, what they left of it."

"Be quiet," Draco said, and the house-elf obeyed. He looked old enough to fall apart and slightly mad, but he smiled adoringly at Draco as though be quiet was the most wonderful thing anyone had ever said.

"Wonderful, Draco! Excellent job with the potion," Bella said and smiled.

"Narcissa, you and I will discuss how the rest of the estate is to be split up at a later time," Bella said to Narcissa.

"Of course, Bella," Narcissa said. Narcissa looked at her son and smiled. "Good job, Draco," she said with a smile.

Draco waved his hand dismissively, though he gave the two of them a small smile. "You and mum talk it out. I don't really care beyond the house."
