After Harry's message, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny returned home. Suprised that they had returned home earlier than expected, Mrs. Weasley began to ask questions.

"No time, Mum," Ron mumbled as he brushed himself off, waiting for Hermione and Ginny to come through the fireplace. "Harry will be here soon and he said he had something important to tell us. We'll be outside," he said, looking at Fleur and the mess that still took up half of the downstairs area.

Walking outside, Ron moved to sit under the tree at the edge of the garden. "Any ideas of what could be so urgent that he'd come now?"

Ginny was wringing her hands in her lap, looking around nervously every few seconds to see if Harry had arrived yet. She half expected him to walk in looking more torn up and damaged than Lupin after a full moon, but realized she was over estimating the situation, "I don't know, I hope it's nothing wrong," Ginny stated, looking down at her lap, and feeling like she needed to see Harry now just to confirm that he was alive.

Ron looked at his sister. "Gin, I'm sure he's fine. He's obviously still functioning if he's sending us cryptic messages." Ron looked around. Nobody would guess anything was wrong with the world on a day like this. Blue skies. Summer warmth. Three teenagers sitting outside. A busy house, getting ready for a wedding that would be taking place in a week. But under everything was something dark. Something evil. "He's fine, Ginny. No need to worry," Ron said, absentmindedly.

Ginny smiled a little bit, comforted somewhat by what Ron said, "I know, I know, but I just worry that something dreadful is happening. I don't know what sort of thing, but if he needs to come over right now...I don't know," she replied, still wringing her hands nervously and popping her thumb. She rested her head on her brother's shoulder for a minute, trying to calm herself down as she looked intently at the door.

"Gin. Of course something dreadful is happening. But that doesn't mean something dreadful has happened to Harry. Especially since he's still able to communicate with us. It, personally, makes me feel better that he's coming here. So we'll finally know what he's been up to all summer," Ron said, trailing off as Ginny put her head on his shoulder. "He's fine," he whispered.

She nodded a little bit with her head still resting there, "I know, I'm just being...stupid," Ginny began, "I'm glad he's coming, of course. We'll know that he's okay and everything when he's right here. When did he say he was coming?"

"Uh, right now. But if he's traveling by Floo, he's going to need to get to a fireplace that's connected to the Floo Network. And if he's flying, then it'll be a bit. He may be apparating, although he's never passed the test, and I don't think he much cares for the feeling of apparating," Ron said. "Yeah, we know why your happy he's coming," Ron said, smirking.

"Ronald Weasley!" she laughed and flicked him jokingly on the side of the head, "Just because you and Hermione can't control yourselves doesn't mean we all cant," she gave another laugh at the expression on Ron's face and added, "But you could be partly right."

"Partly right? Pssh," Ron said, pushing her head off of his shoulder. "You know I'm fully right. Don't try and deny it. And, please! Hermione and I can control ourselves perfectly fine. So, that's not even a valid argument."

"Partly at most," she elaborated, nodding as if this gave her argument more weight, "I'm going to deny it until you have proof to the contrary. And don't even lie, I know what you really do when you 'go downstairs.'"

Once again, Harry landed from a rather brisk flight, in the Weasley's front yard. He set his broomstick against the outside wall and knocked on the door, expecting a rush of red heads and one sandy haired girl to attack the front door. To his surprise, it was only one head, Mrs. Weasley. And not to his surprise, he was pulled into a motherly hug, patted on the back, proded and inspected, told he needed a good hearty meal, and that she was glad he was safe and sound.

Prying himself from Mrs. Weasley's arms, he gave a brisk hand shake to Mr. Weasley, who told him that Ron, Hermione and Ginny were out in the garden awaiting his arrival. Offering a rather gentle smile, he thanked Mr. Weasley and headed out back.

Looking up from the grass he was playing with when he heard the back door open, Ron smiled. Elbowing Ginny he pointed towards the door. "Hey, mate!" he called from under the tree.

Ginny snapped to attention when ron elbowed her and lept to her feet when she saw Harry walking in their direction. Resisting the temptation to run over and tackle him to the ground, she waved over at him genially, but not overenthusiastically, and waited for him to walk over.

Next was Ginny. The moment his eyes fell upon her face, he felt a gentle warming in his cheeks. Everything seemed so normal now, it was surprising how easy Harry could be around her. He wasn't awkward or nervous as he was with Cho, and now even with Hermione, knowing that she and Ron were together. He slipped an arm around her waist and pulled her into a hug that lasted much longer than Hermione's, and seemed much more intimate.

"I missed you ... " he whispered against her ear.

She wrapped her arms around him and held him close, feeling a weight being lifted off of her now that she knew that he was safe and by her side. Though their relationship had ended at the beginning of the summer, she felt a deeper connection with his arms around her waist than she ever did with her other male friends.

She smiled when he spoke this, and she replied, "I've missed you too," in a small whisper, resting her chin on his shoulder for a moment before they broke apart.

He felt so ... strange. He wanted to kiss her, but felt the need to do so was hindered by the fact that 1) he was blushing quite like Ron's ears and 2) Ron and Hermione were watching them both, with a terrible knowing smile. When they broke apart, he caught a glimpse of the two of them.

"Don't look at us like that ... " he said meekly and, instead, took Ginny's hand and held it at his side.

She smiled and a rouge blush crept into her cheeks when he took her hand, but noticing the smug, knowing look on Ron's face, she tried to suppress it and look nonchalant. She failed rather miserably and settled for looking pleased, though she did throw Ron a look as if to say, "what?" as she ran her thumb along the back of Harry's hand.

Glancing over Hermione's shoulder, he noticed his best friend next. Approaching him, he gave Ron a sharp slap on the shoulder and grinned at him. "Merlin, is it possible you grew even more? Or perhaps I'm just shrinking ... "

"Well you're shrinking width-wise. I don't mean to sound like my mother, but did you not eat all summer? It's great to see you, Harry," Ron grinned.

"Well, that's what I'm here for, isn't it? To celebrate a wedding and gorge myself on your mum's cooking ... I've been waiting for it all summer. Thanks for the care package, by the way." Harry spoke to Ron with his arm still around Ginny's waist loosely.

"Well of course. Can't have my best mate go off and starve. You have to go through this wedding with me first. Then starve all you want," Ron said, still grinning.

'Oh good Harry, you're here! I was worried that it could be something that would send someone after you! How've you been?' Hermione asked getting up to hug him.

Once again suffocated by a hug from Hermione, Harry gave a little chuckle and wrapped his arms around her in a return hug.

"How did I know that was the first thing you were going to say to me? Maybe a 'Hiya Harry, how was your summer?'" he joked, giving her a soft smile.

“Course not! That would imply that I quit thinking about the imminent danger you're constantly in,” she said with a rival grin.
