Personality:

Ginny is a sweet sixteen year-old, just like any other sixth year Gryffindor. Right? Well, that is not how Ginny wants to be viewed; after all she is an individual who does not need protection, especially from her brothers who should have more important things to do. Like fight He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named; not trying to weed out the boys she wants to date. Or at least, a boy by the name of Draco Malfoy.

She is very protective, like any lioness, of her family and of her chosen mate. It doesn’t matter what her family does, of how annoyed they make her, she will help them if they need it. That is how she would react to anyone who need help, although she wants to act tough especial now that she is dating *gasp* a Slytherin!

Family:

She was always closer to her father then her mother, which was an irony since it was her mother who had wanted a girl so badly. To Ginny, it had always been Percy who was her mother’s favorite and that turned him none the better. Percy was always her least favorite brother, though there were times in which he was in competition with Ron for that spot.

Bill was too old for Ginny, which was odd since Charlie was only a year younger then her and her was her favorite. She had never seen him, except for holidays but it had broken her heart when her had moved to Romania.

Ginny switched between hating the twins and loving them as she grew up, they were either causing her to fall over with laughter of run away in tears. Ron was fine until he turn eleven and suddenly was old enough to go off to Hogwarts. Then he was always too ‘mature’ to play with his younger sister and Ginny never forgave him for that.

As she grew up, she came to accept her family as odd as they were. Of course, she did have a few years of hating them for being poor and for all the teasing she went through, but it didn’t last long and Ginny was proud of all of her older brothers. Of Bill who was so cool, of Charlie who finally came home, of Percy… well, not really, of the twins and their shop, and of Ron who was always helping Harry.

Then it all changed, with a secret. Ginny was the first female born into the Weasley family in generation and for some reason that just made her family want to protect her even more. Sometimes, Ginny just felt as if she was being slowly suffocated and no one seemed to see it.
