Personality:

Ernie is intelligent and he knows it and doesn’t necessarily like to show it off, but he like people to think that he’s smart. Even though learning comes naturally to him, he still has to work hard for the grades that he receives. Without any effort he could do work that is just enough to get by, but he feels that it isn’t enough. Ernie’s parents often compare him to his older sister Catherine and he feels the need to out do her in every way possible so that he can have some of the lime light. When Ernie finds someone that he feels he can trust he sticks with them like glue, and if he feels like he has been betrayed, Ernie has never felt any remorse over holding a grudge, until it becomes cold, or Ernie realizes that he was totally wrong and admits so, grudgingly at times. Even though he can come off as a pompous ass, Ernie has a warm heart and does care greatly for his friends. He likes to know that if they ever get introuble, that he can get them out, or at least help.

Quirks:

Ernie always stresses out about finals and will constantly ask people to quiz him up until the very last second before the test. When stressed out he can be found in the library trying to escape reality.

Family:

Ernie comes from a family who pretends to be close but really isn’t. So it comes as no surprise that Ernie has always made up his own definition of family, and will always choose friends over his blood family. Growing up his family took great pride that they were pureblood for over six generations, hearing it all of his life it came as no surprise that Ernie would adapt that persona as well. It wasn’t until way into Hogwarts years that he learned that he should probably stray from it.
