Draco wears so many masks that it's sometimes hard to nail down his true personality. He is cocky and arrogant, often high strung, and a big baby when he's sick. He's also charming and confident with underlying insecurities. He's learning to care deeply for people other than himself, and it's making his life very complicated.Family:
Draco is the son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. Both his grandmothers are living, though he's had limited interaction with his mother's mother. He is nephew to Rodolphus and Bellatrix Lestrange. Being pureblood, he has a large extended family, including his estranged cousin Nymphadora Tonks, and is distantly related to half the people at Hogwarts...though he doesn't like to admit this.Levicorpus History (beyond the Lexicon) :
Draco has been a busy boy.He spent most of his summer fixing up Riddle House to make it fit for occupation by Death Eaters. Snape forced him to do this Muggle style so as not to draw this Ministry's attention. Draco was forced to deal with Muggle plumbers, electricians, and grocers, and did far more dusting than any person should have to endure in one life time.
The more Draco saw of the Death Eaters activities, the more repulsed he became. He broke into Harry's bedroom at number four Privet Drive and discovered the word Horcrux, which peeked his curiosity.
In the effort to escape Riddle House, Draco spent a lot of his time on the internet at the Great Hangleton public library. This allowed his to make contact with a large number of people he normally would not have been able, including Ginny Weasley. Draco started developing a network of contacts and friendship with Ginny.
Eventually, he figured out Snape may not be on the Dark Lord's side after all and approached him about becoming a double agent. With Snape's coaching, Draco has made contact with the Order. The day before the Hogwarts train left, Draco and Ginny let their friendship blossom into a romance.
To complicate things (because Draco apparently was not playing a dangerous enough game), he found himself involved with and often on the wrong side of the Moonstone gypsy clan. At the moment Draco finds himself in a big mess of political intrigue. He is wanted by the Ministry, and falsely accused of murdering the vampire Sanguini, whose true killer would like to see Draco dead as well.
Thankfully, at the start of November, the gypsies decided to pull out of Britian. Draco had no time to feel relief, as his beloved Ginny was kidnapped on the same day by Lucius Malfoy. To Draco's surpise, Luicus had a plan to leave the Death Eaters and use Ginny to gain the ear of the Order. Draco his Order connection to Lucius to save Ginny, which in some ways was just as well. But as more people learn Draco's secrets, the danger increases, and it's has become more urgent to help Harry find the Horcruxes than ever.
But that's okay, because as always Draco has a plan...
